Development Officer, Leadership Giving
Yale University seeks a driven and successful fundraiser to join the division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a member of the Office of Development Leadership Giving team, the Leadership Giving Officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $50,000 to $500,000 and plays a central role in collaborating with colleagues in Major Gifts, the Alumni Fund, Reunion Giving, and Planned Giving to ensure prospects are solicited comprehensively.
Managing Director, Yale Alumni Fund
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, the Managing Director of the Yale Alumni Fund will provide strategic vision and operational leadership of Yale’s annual giving program. The Managing Director will develop and execute comprehensive, data-informed strategies for donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, acquisition, retention, pipeline development, and volunteer engagement, ensuring that the Alumni Fund consistently achieves ambitious annual goals while advancing the broader priorities of the Yale University Office of Development.
Program Coordinator, Events
The Program Coordinator, Events provides support for Yale’s fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of successful top-quality events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) that enhance the relationship between Yale University and its prominent alumni, parents, and friends. The Program Coordinator, Events reports directly to the Senior Associate Director, Events, and supports a team of four event planners, the Senior Associate Director, Events, and the Director, Events, within the Office of Development’s Marketing & Communications unit.
Program Coordinator, Principal Gifts
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator provides advanced support and analysis for the University Director of Principal Gifts and the team of Principal Gifts officers in all aspects of their work. Principal Gifts is responsible for substantial and transformative donations made to the university. As a key part of this important work, the PC position provides a fascinating window into the inner workings of major initiatives and upper levels of administration at Yale.
Program Manager, International Development
Reporting to the Director of International Development, the Program Manager will provide strategic leadership and high-level administrative support to the Director and Gift Officers by overseeing the International Development support team and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality written materials, including briefing materials, proposals, correspondence, stewardship reports, gift documentation, and other donor communications. They will be responsible for both producing and editing these materials, as appropriate, and manage the workflow and quality control processes associated with their development.
Senior Administrative Assistant, International Development
Reporting to the Program Manager, the International Development Senior Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive and high-level administrative, database, travel, and event planning support to frontline gift officers on the International Development team to advance their mission to cultivate, solicit and steward international donors and prospects. While support will primarily be focused on the International Development teams, the Senior Administrative Assistant may be called on to assist with tasks for other members of the Team of Teams which is a group made up of International Development, Parent Gifts, Principal Gifts, Corporate and Foundations, Schools and Units, and Science Strategy. This also includes supporting the AVP, Office of Development with administrative tasks as assigned.
