If you are one of the 13,000 members in the Yale College Classes of 2008–2017, you are a member of BOLD, Bulldogs Of the Last Decade, and you play a vital role in the success and growth of Yale College.
Yale has always received help and encouragement from its extraordinary friends, a diverse group that included Elihu Yale in 1718 and thousands over the years. Friends can choose to support a wide range of Yale projects, programs, and departments.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations seeks to establish strategic partnerships with corporations to create mutually beneficial relationships between industry and Yale University. Foundations are a driving force behind much of the research and many of the programs that take place on campuses today, and this is especially true at Yale.
Many alumni, friends, and Yale College parents serve as volunteers on behalf of the university in a range of roles. Approximately 3,000 are active participants in Yale’s fundraising efforts and are a critical factor in their success.
Volunteers are involved with most aspects of giving to Yale, whether as annual giving volunteers, members of Reunion Gift Committees, parent volunteers, or serving on the advisory boards and committees of the professional schools.
