A $100 million gift from the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, the largest in Yale School of Management’s history, launches the Broad Center at Yale SOM.

Leaders of large public school systems need the same skills as any leader of a complex organization. The Broad Center at Yale SOM pairs Yale expertise in management with educational insight in its programs for public school leaders. Funded by a $100 million gift from the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, the The Broad Center at Yale SOM works to improve K–12 public education through leadership training, research, and policy engagement. By doing so, the center aims to promote excellence and equity in underserved classrooms across America.
