Planned Gifts

There are giving options that can meet both personal and philanthropic goals: a donor can make a gift, receive lifetime income, save taxes, and support Yale all at the same time. Donations of other assets such as real estate, art, and closely held stock may also be possible. Contact your tax advisor or Yale's Office of Planned Giving for the current status of the charitable IRA rollover.

For more information on planned gifts or bequests, contact Yale's Office of Planned Giving at 800.445.6086, visit yale.planyourlegacy.org or e-mail development.plannedgiving@yale.edu.

Bequests

If Yale is named in a will or trust, the university may recognize the commitment in our reunion gift at a discounted value based on the age of the youngest person upon whose death Yale will receive the bequest. This age is typically a minimum of 65 years.
