Ossa Fisher is the president of Aurora Innovation. Aurora is delivering the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly to make transportation more accessible and reliable than ever before. The company is working with industry leaders across the transportation ecosystem, including Toyota, FedEx, Volvo Trucks, PACCAR, Uber, Uber Freight, Werner, Schneider, and Ryder.

Prior to Aurora, Fisher spent over twenty years at innovative technology companies in high-growth industries, serving in both strategic and operational functions. Most recently, she served as president & COO of Istation, a leading education technology provider serving millions of students across the United States. Prior to Istation, Fisher served as senior vice president of strategy and analytics at the dating company Match, known for such brands as match.com and Tinder. In addition, Fisher spent almost a decade at global consulting firm Bain & Co, ultimately serving as a partner in the technology, media, and telecom practice. Fisher began her career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Fisher has been recognized by multiple organizations. Awards include: “40 under 40” corporate directors to watch by the National Association for Corporate Directors; “Women in Technology” award from the Dallas Business Journal; “Dallas 500” by D CEO; and “Future 50” by Dallas Innovates.

Fisher holds a BA in economics from Yale University, an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an MA in education from Stanford Graduate School of Education. She holds both Swedish and American citizenship and is fluent in both Swedish and English. Fisher is married with two teenage daughters.
